"When the sand runs out..."

I spent the morning at an old friend's graveFlowers and 'Amazing Grace', he was a good manHe spent his whole life spinning his wheelsNever knowing how the real thing feelsHe never took a chance or took the time to danceAnd I stood there thinking, as I said goodbyeToday is the first day of the rest of my lifeI'm gonna stop looking back and starting moving onLearn how to face my fearsLove with all of my heart, make my markI wanna leave something hereGo out on a ledge, without any netThat's what I'm gonna be aboutYeah, I wanna be runningWhen the sand runs outCause people do it everydayPromise themselves they're gonna changeI've been there, but I'm changing from the inside out That was then and this is nowI'm a new man, yeah, I'm a brand new manAnd when they carve my stone, they'll write these words"Here lies a man who lived life for all that it's worth"I'm gonna stop looking back and starting moving onAnd learn how to face my fearsLove with all of my heart, make my markI wanna leave something hereGo out on a ledge, without any netThat's what I'm gonna be aboutYeah, I wanna be runningWhen the sand runs outAnd as the cold wind blows across the graveyardI think I hear the voice of my old friend, whisper in my earI'm gonna stop looking back and start moving onAnd learn how to face my fearsLove with all of my heart and make my markI wanna leave something hereGo out on a ledge, without any netThat's what I'm gonna be aboutYeah, I wanna be runningWhen the sand runs outI wanna be running When the sand runs outYes I do, mmm

She went home....

For anyone who knew her...Grandma Roth went home on Friday afternoon. She is now in a new, painfree body, singing, dancing (hey-one can dream!), and mingling with others who we've lost over the years...one thing she was looking forward to...being re-united with her one true love, and meeting her birth mom. I take peace in knowing she's better...If any of you are in the area and are able to attend the service, it'll be at Sweet Home Church of Christ on 18th and Long at 2:00pm on Friday, July 25th...Thank you for the tiny and big ways you blessed her life!

Bibidibopidiboo

(prepare yourselves...this is a long one) Sometimes life runs so outta control that just for a second you wish that you could borrow that magic wand from the Fairy GodMother and say those magic words...Bibidibobidiboo...then I start to think of all that I would miss in those few seconds. What if I hadn't used the wand, how would this or that situation turned out? For the better or for the worse? I guess that for right now, I will just sit back and watch Cinderella use the wand and enjoy the "betters" and "worst" that happen here and there. Thankfully more "betters" than the other. While driving somewhere the other day, cruising along with the windows down and the music blaring, a song came on that I'd heard before, but not really thought about...it's by Trace Adkins and it's titled, "You're Gonna Miss This". Here are the lyrics in case you're not familiar with it:

She was staring out the window of their SUV
Complaning, saying "I can't wait to turn 18"
She said "I'll make my own money, and I'll make my own rules"
Mamma put the car in park out there in front of the school
Then she kissed her head and said "I was just like you"

You're gonna miss this
You're gonna want this back
You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast
These are some good times
So take a good look around
You may not know it now
But you're gonna miss this

Before she knows it she's a brand new bride
In a one-bedroom apartment, and her daddy stops by
He tells her "It's a nice place"
She says "It'll do for now"
Starts talking about babies and buying a house
Daddy shakes his head and says "Baby, just slow down"

Cause you're gonna miss this
You're gonna want this back
You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast
These are some good times
So take a good look around
You may not know it now
But you're gonna miss this

Five years later there's a plumber workin' on the water heater
Dog's barkin', phone's ringin'
One kid's cryin', one kid's screamin'
And she keeps apologizin'
He says "They don't bother me.
I've got 2 babies of my own.
One's 36, one's 23.
Huh, it's hard to believe, but...

You're gonna miss this
You're gonna want this back
You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast
These are some good times
So take a good look around
You may not know it now
But you're gonna miss this"

Of course it was the chorus that kept repeating itself in my head. I do find myself at times, more lately than usual, looking back and wishing that life would just slow down. That we could savour our cherished moments just a moment longer. Here's a few things that I was thinking I wish hadn't gone by so fast...
  • High School-yes, even though I was the poodle with big glasses, I wish that I had known to nurture my friendships more and not take them so for-granted. I wish that I had paid attention more in classes. All classes for that matter! Mostly Business, as a couple years ago, our Business teacher died of cancer and won't make it to our class reunion. Sad.
  • Family-though it was cold, and though it was early, I wish that I had gotten my lazy butt outta bed and gone out and fed cows, moved cows, branded cows, or bailed hay. Those are moments that I could have built more memories with family...I am SO thankful for the memories that I do have. I wish that I had spent more time with Dan and Katie in Latvia. I really didn't think that it'd be 8 years later, and I wouldn't have returned to visit. This list could go on and on....
  • College - if you went to college with me and you are reading this, you are going to laugh...I wish that I would have stayed up later. Though a late night owl now, I wasn't then, hitting the bed as early sometimes as 7:30! What was I thinking???? Thanks to those who often tried to keep me out past that bedtime, and I apologize and ask for forgiveness to those whose heads I bit off if you weren't being quiet enough..sorry
  • Any kids that I've taught/played with/crossed paths with...I wish that I'd listened to you more when you were trying to tell me something. I wish that I'd asked more questions instead of doing all the talking. I wish that I'd savored your little "funny" moments more, tickled more, laughed more, played more and had you sit in time-outs less.
  • And last that I'm going to write about, but not last on my list...love. I wish that I hadn't put myself out there in loving the opposite sex so many times just to come back a little more broken each time. I've been thinking about that phrase, "Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all"... In what context was this written? Love as in relationship love with the opposite sex? Cause I have "loved". I have poured out love to family, friends and kids. I feel as if I could die tomorrow knowing that I have loved. Some I have lost. Some friendships I have poured love into are no more. Some kids I have poured love into don't have a clue who I am when I run up to them and say "Hi!" And sometimes that feels like a lost. So I do agree with that statement in that context. I don't think that I agree with it in the LOVE (passion, desire, attraction to the opposite sex) sense. Why would you want to go through the rest of your life trying to mend and mend and mend a broken heart? Yeah, you "get over it" with time, but you never really "get over it", know what I mean? It still lingers in the heart. A friend of mine told me that 6 months is long enough. Long enough to sulk, long enough to cry, long enough to hear that song and fall apart, like your chest is being ripped from you with a knife, and you can't breathe, and you feel like you're going to throw up. 6 months. Is that really long enough? Yes she said. Have a "Goodbye ________" party! Make it an occasion! Burn pictures! Burn memories! This sounds harsh! I don't know if I'm into that whole idea, but I am into "getting over it". Shoving it into the backest, deepest part of my mind and heart so that when I do hear that song or see that picture, I don't become sick. I'm thinking, "Better to not have loved than to mend a broken heart."
Ok, off of that heavy subject! I'm wanting to close up this blog...I have to work tomorrow. Yes, it is Sat, and no, it's not babysitting. I decided that I'm not "busy" enough, so I took a Sat. job! It's at this CUTE baby/kids boutique in Northbrook. Yes, I put an alcoholic in a liquor store! One of these Sats. I'll bring home a paycheck! Check out the website if you get time...www.peek-a-boutique.com.

Lilli and Isabella are growing, it's incredible. Bella is crawling and just our little ball of constant joy, I'm not kidding! Smiles and laughs 24-7. Lilli is GREAT at being a big sister from running and getting diapers to feeding her while I make our lunch. She's the best! I'll download some pics of them soon! Paxton Bailey will also be downloaded soon. I did his 1 month and they turned out great! For now, I'm off to catch some zzzzz's-Sweet Dreams!

the long awaited return of.....

"rebeccasdailyramblings!!!" coming tonight.......stay tuned!

Off and running....

Off and running to......Florida! We are headed to Key Biscayne for a much needed vacation. Kim's sister, husband and kids just left, and my head is still ringing, so many kids, so little space, so much noise! I think that's the highest my stress level has been in a while-but, I did have fun! Anyway, if you get a chance, check out our residence while we are on vacation at: http://www.ritzcarlton.com/en/Properties/KeyBiscayne/Default.htm
It's beyond beautiful. The weather is supposed to be somewhat rainy, but I'm PRAYING that it changes it's mind! Alrighty, off to finish packing the girls, SO exciting!!!

wow...2 posts in one day!

Yes, you are seeing right. I'm posting twice in one day! Thought I'd get the info out there in case anyone has anything to offer! A couple of my girlfriends and I are planning on heading to Hawaii next Jan/Feb 2009, you know, a celebration of my singlehoood...since I'm not saving for a wedding or anything anymore. Anyway, we are having a hard time finding a place to stay! It's weird though, cause when we went 2 years ago, we didn't book until the July before, and here we are trying to book 11 months ahead and can't find anything! OH NO! Don't suppose it's God telling me to go to Africa instead!?!?!?!? No...can't be.. Ok, so yeah, there are 3 of us, non-smokers, no pets, and on a budget! Let me know if you know of anything!

check this out....

a couple websites to check out:

hgtv.com; place cursor over "decorating", scroll down to "Rate My Space"; click; on the left hand side, click on "baby nurseries"; scroll down to page 2; click; scroll down to "Modern B & W" and there you will see more pics from the nursery! Enjoy!

Off to play Alice! Laundry, kids, feeding, playdate, lunch, dry cleaning, dinner, playtime, feed the dog, let the dog out, let the dog out, let the dog out.....you get the point!

...need answers....

So, my mind's been running today with questions, so I thought I'd jot them down, and for anyone who has the time, feel free to answer them....

  • The sun is shinning, but the temperature says 30`....can I slip on my open toe heels with a pair of jeans? I don't know if I can put on these boots one more time!
  • How many times in one day can I reason with a 4 year old? Why am I reasoning in the first place!?
  • If a recipe calls for lemon juice and orange juice (recipe is called Double Citrus Tart), can I substitute Pineapple juice for one of them?
  • Why does it always seem like Colby the dog is sitting on one of the girls' blankets when he chooses to clean himself? GROSS!
  • Was it wrong of me to wear a black dress to Church on Sunday for Easter? I did have a pink head band.....
  • I've been telling myself every night before I go to bed that tomorrow for SURE I'll get up and go and work out...why is it so difficult?
  • Why are stupid reality shows like The Bachelor so addicting? Here's my weekly list if I have time: The Bachelor; Biggest Loser, Top Chef, Men in Trees, Grey's Anatomy, Las Vegas, Desperate Housewives, and Brothers and Sisters....no wonder I crave Christian music when I'm driving in the car-I watch filth! :)
Alright, speaking of which, it's 8 and the Bachelor is on. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARY!!! Sorry we can't watch it together! Get better, get outta that hospital-the food is awful! Let me know if you want me to bring you something! Night y'all-Rebecca

Ok....time to be serious....

Alrighty, then. You may want to crab a cup of java or tea, and have a seat for this one. Since I haven't written in a while, this may be lengthy...I mean, look, I haven't even done the intro yet, and I already have 4 sentences! My feet are up, the guests are gone, When Harry Met Sally is playing in the background, and the tea is steeping...Here's whats been going on here....

Isabella is SO adorable and Lilli is SUCH a big helper, I can't even tell you. Lilli is great with her, constantly loving on her that at times I have to divert her to something else..

The second weekend in March, I went to a Women's Retreat with a girlfriend. I was hesitant on going and was somewhat signed up against my will. But, in the end, I decided that I'd go and try to revive my broken Spirit. I wanted to be spoken to and connect with God, but yet I didn't. It was a weird place that I haven't been in a while. I mean, I know who He is, I know that He will never leave and that He is always there, my faith isn't a question. My relationship and desire for Him seems to be more of the question. But it's not anymore. He and I have had some very interesting conversations lately. So I went to this conference with an open mind. LOL-behold, here it is about "The Wide Open Space of God-A Journey with God through the Landscapes of Life." Hum, well, if I was ever going through a landscape where I needed to see God, it was now. So I sat back and listened...then He spoke. One of the first things out of Beth's (the speaker) mouth was that God is Bigger than ______. And she wanted us to fill in whatever we were struggling with. Disappointment, broken hearts, burnt out ministries, feeling like a wrung out dishrag....etc. Instead of living the life that God intended for me to live, I was fighting Him, living a life that I wanted to live because I was scared. Because of the unknown. You see, since I was O, I don't know, 10 or so, I've wanted to work in an Orphanage. I even went and spent a summer in Bolivia to experience it first-hand. It was that summer, the summer before my Junior year that I told God that I'd go wherever. He told me Africa. I told Him Bible College in Wisconsin first. He told me Africa. I looked into it. I told Him Chicago. He told me Africa. I told Him Oregon. He told me Africa. I told Him Chicago again. He's telling me Africa. A couple days before the conference, un-beknownce to me what the topic was...I was standing at the Kitchen sink washing bottles when God started talking to me. I've never really experienced it like this before. The house was quiet. Lilli was at school, Isabella was sleeping. He said Africa. That phrase. I told Him not right now. He said, "Rebecca. I'm bigger than your fears. I'm bigger than debt. I'm bigger than the unknown. I"m bigger." "I know, God. I know. Not right now." So, what does He do, He HAS to draw in my Mom. Mom calls me a few days later to tell me that God spoke to her, and told her that I'm supposed to go to Africa. AHHH!!! I now walk around all day singing that song..."Please don't send me to Africa..." But, deep in my heart, I know that I won't truly be happy until I am doing His work that He's created and intended for me to do. I think that I'm finally seeing that it might be Africa. I want to embrace the unique calling for my life. Africa. I want to have the desire to live life for a bigger calling. Africa. I came home, set up a budget, and am starting to figure out how I can go. I'm starting, slowly, to ask the question, "is this something that I NEED or WANT?" And, for those who know me well....that's a tough one! Of course I NEEEEDD those Black patent leather open toe strappy back Coach 2 inch heels!!! AGH!

So, the rest of my life is just crazy. For not "having" a life, it seems to be full. Just the way that I like it! Life as a Nanny diffently has changed with adding Bella to the mix! Kim went back to work full time at the beginning of March. It was hard on all of us! I enjoyed having Kim's company, of course the girls enjoyed having her around, and it was so nice to have her to entertain Bella or play with Lilli why I folded laundry or emptied the dishwasher! The best was that she was around to change those dreaded poppie diapers! Bella and I have talks on a daily basis that she needs to wait till 5:30, but for some reason, she still does it at 5:10....Silly girl! I'm thinking of maybe going back to school. You know, in procrastination to Africa! I'm thinking of teaching, or culinary. hum...what to do!

On March 15th, I flew out to Nebraska to help Host my Best Friend Jessica's Baby Shower! What a FUN time! We also FINISHED her nursery, and that was just a blessing!!! It's absolutely FABULOUS, and I can't even tell you...it's just gorgeous! Here's some pics....

She is looking all prego, and it was sad to both of us, and we both actually cried cause the next time I see her, she's gonna be a momma. We can't just run out for coffee or something, it all has to be planned out. Weird. She looks FANTASTIC, and is going to make a Fabulous mom. I rode almost the entire hour with my hand on her belly feeling the baby move. My name will be Fairy God Mother. I don't like the sound of Aunt Rebecca. Everyone is called "Aunt..." I of course, can't have things the same...so I'm going to be Fairy God Mother. They aren't of the "God Parent" beliefs, so it's kinda the same thing....ANYWAY....Jessica told me that my problem is that, and I agree with her, that I hang out with all marrieds that are older than me and have kids...I don't hang out with anyone who is near my age and single. SO, I'm going to look into the "Singles" group at Willow Creek or Harvest Bible....they have a good rep. and I'm not into Match.com or eharmony....Anyway, so I'll let you know how that goes. Not sure if I'm ready to hit that road again or not. Getting thrown in front of the train 3 times in 4 years is enough for me.

OK, I think that I'm fading, and Sally's at the part where her boyfriend breaks up with her, and Harry comes over to comfort her, and they start kissing, realizing that they like each other and I just don't think that I can handle this...ugh. Gonna fold laundry and get to bed. I have to teach Sunday School tomorrow both hours since Jayne is gone-actually looking forward to it!

Night y'all! Love, Rebecca

Ponder...

My latest pondered question that is haunting me....

How is it that something that felt, and still feels SO right - go wrong?

I was reminded last night that God has a plan and a purpose for EVERYTHING and that His hand is in EVERYTHING. I need to surrender it to Him......can I surrender it to Him with my input on how a situation should go? I know that sounds silly, but that's how I feel. "Um, excuse me God, but, well, I was wondering, if I hand this situation over to you, can it turn out like....." Though, deep down, I know that He is God, and He will do whatever He wants to! I will rest in that truth. I will rest in the truth that God's plan is Perfect. That God is Perfect. That His love for me doesn't change because of situations or my lack of trust. I will rest in the fact that God's will will be done and in His perfect timing none-the-less! A couple quotes that were shown to me......

Vindication does not come from self-defensive arguments; it stems from integrity (Ps. 26:1). It requires that I allow God to examine my mind and heart (v.2) and that I walk in His truth (v.3). This, of course, requires patient waiting (25:21).
When we call on God, He will help us—but in His perfect time and in His perfect way
I prayed: the answer long deferred brought not the thing I sought; He answered better than my plea,Yes, better than my thought. —Anon.
The purpose of prayer is not to get what we want, but to become what God wants.

Wow....

Yeah, so I noticed that it's been almost a month......sorry about that. I'm hoping that I'm back on schedule now. Though, after thinking a bit, which is a hard thing to do in my state of being, I've decided to try for every other day. My life isn't exciting enough to blog about every day.................the news for today is that I didn't vote. I know, I know, save your breath. I've already been chewed out by countless others.....:)

On a better note, my sweet new nephews pics are up on the web...go to www.kaelitephotography.com , click on online proofing, and then click on "Colin". He's adorable, tons of black curly hair like his daddy.

This past weekend I spent in Nebraska painting and getting my Bestest friends Jessica's nursery ready for her new bundle of joy arrival in April. It is absolutely fabulous and so posh! I'll get photos up as soon as I can. I forgot my camera and she has to send it back to me. Just to give you an idea, it's black and white with polka dots, and lime green accessories, and just so posh and elegant, I'm SOOOOO happy for her, and that little baby that gets the best nursery ever!

I'm signing off now, can hardly keep my eyes open.....Kim is at work tomorrow, and I've got the girls all day. Isabella pooped all over everywhere today, so can't wait to see what she's got in store for me tomorrow. Lilli doesn't listen, and Kim calls her evil. Basically its stubborn vs. stubborn. Kim's mom says she was just like that as a child, hum......Just another day in the life of a Nanny.

It's gonna be a while...

OK, so...........it may be a while. My laptop goes to the tech. doctor tomorrow..maybe it'll be fixed by the time I leave! Leaving? Yes...6 days.....I'll be able to do a few blogs between now and then on Kim's computer, but after that, I don't know where I'll blog from on vacation..maybe I can find a little "Internet Cafe". Weird that you can go somewhere and do that. I hardly remeber what the 80's and 90's were like before all this stuff. Paula Abdul, Tina Turner, Alf, all good stuff of the 80's. Anyway...it's going to be another crazy week. Kim's trying to get everything done before she herself goes on vacation starting on Saturday, so between her and me trying to get everything done, taking care of Bella and Lilli, 3 playdates, swimming, ballet and gymnastics, a birthday party, laundry, painting little fingernails and toes, babysitting, and a little of this and that, I'm thinking that this week is going to go by fast, at least I'm hoping that it does....I AM SOOOO STOKED TO SEE.............my parents!!! Enough of my rambling, I really have nothing interesting to say..pretty boring around here.
6 days!!!!!!!

Tomorrow's Sunday, already????

The highlight's....playdate with the girls that I haven't seen in WAYY to long...catching up with Michelle :).....Natalie's birthday party (PJ party-I went in my sock monkey ones!)....I'm loving having Kim home, it's going to be hard when she's gone......the best is.......guess what, it's less than a week!!!!!!!!! I get to see my Man in.............

6 DAYS!!!!!  :)

Pics of Isabella

Here are those pics of Isabella that I was telling you I'd put up, that I took a couple days ago...she's just beautiful! Smiley, happy, such a joy!

It's Sunday, Day of Rest and socializing..........celebrated Allison's birthday-I cooked her favorite dish for her, and we rented "Nanny Diaries", requested by her daughter. Have you seen it yet? If you want to know what life is like as a Nanny, you gotta watch it! No, it's not like my life at all, but it is a good movie! My life is a thousand times better, and I actually like the family that I Nanny for, and the parents are involved, unlike Grayers. Thanks to Allison for letting me use her computer to post today...maybe I'll get mine fixed this week...so the confirmation that I'm a wordly person. As I watched the start to one of my favorite Sunday night shows, whose name is going to remain anonnymous, I realized that I am an emotional person! 2 minutes into the show, tears are streaming down my face! Ugh, I think that I'm suffering from lack of sleep-or I need to be on meds....I'm going for the first one. Ok, different subject!!
The countdown is on till vacation!!!
13 days!!!!

He's HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, wireless still isn't working, but I will find a way to still post! Thanks to Yuko and Marc for letting me use their computer tonight! THE MOST exciting news happened this morning, Jan. 5th at 12:05. If you want to know...you have to read all the other stuff first!! The last couple days are a blur....my sister and kids got back from Scotland, sounds like they had a great time. All except her oldest, poor Daniel-he's like his dad in that he'd rather stay on the farm with the equipment and animals and not have to interact with people! His favorite part was the Scotish dancing, I said maybe he's going to be a dancer when he grows up! He wasn't ammused at that comment. Here's Katherine with her American Girl doll sleeping on the underground in London...

....yesterday poor Lilli had one of the "Best" meltdowns that I'd seen in a while...poor Kim! I'm thinking that she's ready to go back to work! One more month, than it's me and the 2 munchkins fighting for ourselves...ugh...getting Lilli off to school in the mornings...I'm cringing already! How do people do it with 6??? I've always wanted 6 kids...maybe I'll be re-thinking that! The next couple weeks are going to be a blur.....I hope they go by fast cause I can hardly wait 'till the 19th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today I spent all day looking for my sister-in-laws diaper bag...only to finally have to order it online, accidently placing (2) orders for it...guess I'll be returning it unless I have anyone out there in need of one???

So, I guess I'll get to that exciting news...why would my sister-in-law need a diaper bag you ask? Because at 12:05 COLIN DAVID ROTH entered the world. (still not sure if "Colin" is with one "L" or 2) Here he is with his proud daddy

So, was thinking about that quesiton, "What did we do before technology?" I'm thinking that life was less hetic. Less busy 'cause people couldn't get ahold of you to "quickly" stop by...or "Please pick me up this or that..." Less busy. Less Hetic. Hum, how I would love that right about now! Though...if you know me at all, I have to be busy 24-7, otherwise I go stir-crazy....for instance...the family that I'm babysitting for right now, they don't have cable...since the kids are both in bed, a normal person would lounge on the couch with a book...nope, can't do that. I'll do what I did last time and sit down with the dog-Ned, teaching him how to recognize an Ace in a deck of cards...it actually was pretty amazing how he caught on. Either that or it was a fluke!

Peace out.

Technology....smology......

What ever did we do without Tech? I didn't write last night because my wireless on my laptop seems to have gone caput. What was life like without internet? Hum...that's gonna be a thought to ponder today cause as of right now, I have a little girl tugging on my legs to play Zoboomafoo on the computer. Will write more tonight. Have a fantab day!

All in a days work.....

Not to brag, but I at the moment, as of 9:45pm, I am pretty proud of myself! I know you people with multiple kids have probably already mastered this, especially Michelle who 5 outta 7 days a week usually puts the kids down herself, but still........Kim and Jared went on a date tonight, their first since Bella came into the world, leaving me in charge of the little munchkins. As Kim's walking out the door, I'm explaing to Lilli (4) that after mommy leaves, we are going to eat dinner, watch a little show, take a bath, read books and be in bed with lights out by 8:30-her and her sister. Kim does a little chuckle, it doesn't hurt to dream, right? I have to say.....we did it. Lilli was a great helper, helping me wash Isabella's hair, not throwing a fit when I said that her favorite moment of the day-bath time-was up. She just got out, dried off and got her nightgown on. Then proceeded to grab a couple books and crawl in my lap for me to read while I feed Isabella a bottle with the other hand. When we were done, she wanted to read some more, so I told her she could read until I was finished with her sister, then it was lights out-no fights. So she grabs a couple books, climbs into bed, I finish with Isabella, put her in bed, lights out-close the door, and kiss Princess Lilli goodnight, tell her a quick made up story about a prince, close the door and look at the clock. It's 8:13. REALLY??? Whoa! As I write, Isabella is still asleep, more than likely will want to get up soon to eat again, and Lilli is fast asleep, by 8:45 to be exact! Yup, as predicted-There is sweet Isabella's eyes on the video monitor...well...at least I got an hour and a half! Better get her before she wakes Lilli...guess that's what I'd get for bragging....Night! Oh, got some GREAT shots of Bella sleeping today, will get those up later! Peace.

Can I do it?

Well, here goes nothing! It's a New Year, so why not try something new? I'm already addicted to MySpace, Facebook, Hotmail, Google, Switchboard, Flickr and now a blog. Yes, a blog. Hum...how many will actually read it on a consistent basis? Oh well, at least it can be a place, if nothing else, to put all the stuff that fills my head. Joys, worries, sadness, happiness...just life in general. Happy readings and Cheers to a New Year!!!
